Purging and Organizing
Well we all know that a productive area...is a well organized area....!! I have been cleaning and purging all through the house.....especially with my scrap supplies!
I tied all my solid colored ribbon to a white hanger....which adds lots of color to my space. All the printed with word ribbon is wrapped on wooden clothes pins so I can see what I have. Ric Rac is wrapped around ribbon holders and placed in large mason jars.
I found lots of functional bins and baskets at the Dollar Tree for only $1. The best part is they are LIME GREEN.
Its still a work in progress.....but this is a start...... :)
I have went thru all my scrap paper/cardstock....cut it to 4 x 5 1/2 or 2 x 12 inch strips for my QK borders! I find myself grabbing these scraps before I look for a full sheet of paper...since it is at my finger tips.
BEFORE:
All cardstock and pattern paper is sorted. Cardstock by color...and PP by theme or generic like lines or dots. (WOW...I have alot of PP....really need to scrap my stash....LOL )

Officially 'caught' up for the year!!!
Ok so it is official. I am caught up on scrapping for this year.....I know we are only half way through Janurary....but isnt that GREAT!! Hopefully staying on top of things will help me get caught up. I dont like many LO's from last year...then that year will be complete. It feels so good to see the pictures finally on LO's instead of my computer or in a box!!
This first one is New Year's Day 2009!! We popped fireworks for the kids....but the sparklers by far were there favorites! I took these photos with no flash and the sparkler lighting up there face....the pictures arent clear.....but they still tell there story....I love the look on their faces!!
This is an egg dying LO from 2007. The kids were dying eggs for the egg hunt. Its not my norm to use so much color in my LO's....but with all the colors in the pics.....I couldnt resist!!

Imagination
This is my Kase...at 5...he can dream up some pretty weird...and cool...things. He is always fighting off the monsters in the living room...or the 'bad guys' that bust down the door. On this day...Kase and I went to town for some 'mother/son' time...and he bought these toys with his money. He couldnt wait to get home. The first thing he did....was line up the men...there are army men and police men....and they all took turns getting ate by the grasshopper....then the scorpion....well you get the picture. I had to grab my camera and get him in action.....his face is priceless in these photos. I hope he never forgots how to be creative and use his imagination!!
